Esteban Inga Ortega

This site aims to disseminate research work done in Smart Grid, particularly in the Application of Communications in Advanced Metering Infrastructure Electricity.

About the Researcher:

Esteban Inga (Y’1976-M’08). He received a B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering, from the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana; received his Master’s degree in Education and Social development from the Universidad Tecnológica Equinoccial in 2008, Quito – Ecuador. In 2017 he received his Master’s degree in Engineering at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, Medellín – Colombia. In 2018 he obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana de Medellín – Colombia with honorable mention Magna Cum Laude awarded when the thesis exceeds the expectations of what was proposed in the project unanimously concept of the juries, and scientific production is demonstrated.
He is the Coordinator of the GIREI Research Group. Currently, he is the Director of the Master’s Program in Information Communication Technology for Education. His research interests are green communications, advanced measurement infrastructure, smart grid, smart metering, heterogeneous wireless networks, wireless network planning, optimization, and theory graph. He is a Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering at Universidad Politécnica Salesiana, Quito – Ecuador.
